Protect Your Baby Against RSV This Winter

Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) can cause serious illness in young babies, particularly during the colder months. The Australian Government has launched a targeted RSV immunisation program to help protect newborns and infants during the 2025 RSV season.

Pregnant? You may be eligible for a free RSV vaccine between 28–36 weeks gestation to protect your newborn.

Have a newborn or toddler born after 1st October 2023? Babies may be eligible for free RSV protection if:

  • You did not receive the RSV vaccine during pregnancy, or
  • Your baby has certain medical or risk conditions.

Programs available during 2025 RSV season (April–September).

Please contact the clinic and speak to the doctor and/or nurse for eligibility.
