Children’s Health & Vaccinations
At Sandy Hill Medical Centre, the GPs provide dedicated care for children of all ages — from infants to teens. Services include developmental assessments, check-ups, and treatment of common conditions.
A key part of children’s healthcare is immunisation. The clinic offer all government-funded vaccines under the National Immunisation Program (NIP) and advise on additional private vaccines if needed.
Vaccines may include:
- Measles, Mumps & Rubella (MMR)
- Diphtheria, Tetanus & Pertussis (DTaP)
- Polio
- Hepatitis A & B
- Chickenpox (Varicella)
- Meningococcal
- Rotavirus
- Influenza (flu shot)
The doctors follow the nationally recommended schedule and are available to guide you on timing, catch-up plans, and safety concerns.
Speak with your GP to plan the best care and protection for your child.
